“This is how God showed His love among us: He sent His one and only Son into the world that we might live through Him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.” 1 John 4:9-10
We are thankful for a warm and wonderful Christmas. We began our celebration Christmas Eve by attending a beautiful worship and communion service at our church. At home that evening, Jim read Luke 2 to our cherubs, and I read “Twas The Night Before Christmas” (just for fun). We had a cozy Christmas morning at home and then went to my Mom’s (Nan Nan) for Christmas afternoon and evening. We always sleep over her house Christmas night. My sister and I get up early for some Christmas clearance sales the day after Christmas. We treasure all of these traditions.
Here are a few pictures.
(These pictures are not necessarily in order.)

Daddy & Mommy don’t label the gifts. Each Christmas morning, the children find a large swatch of their wrapping paper outside their bedroom doors. They know which gifts are theirs by the wrapping paper.
