“But blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in Him.
He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.” Jeremiah 17:7-8

I know today is Wednesday and I am a day late with Treasure Verse Tuesday. I am enjoying the last full week of summer break with my cherubs. They are back to school next week.
This week I wanted to share one of my life verses: Jeremiah 17:7-8 (above). This is a treasure verse. My trust and confidence is in HIM. I necessarily and desperately plant myself by the Living Water. Amazingly, He brings forth fruit as I abide in Him and His Word. When we are those trees planted by the stream, our leaves stay GREEN even in the heat. Even in a drought, we will always bear fruit. By Him and for Him. That is just awesome as I soak in that truth time and time again.
And look at this BEAUTIFUL scripture from Ezekial 47. I love this!
“…so where the river flows everything will live…Fruit trees of all kinds will grow on both banks of the river. Their leaves will not wither, nor will their fruit fail. Every month they will bear, because the water from the sanctuary flows to them. Their fruit will serve for food and their leaves for healing.” Ezekial 47:9, 12
That scriptural truth is just breathtaking. Wherever the river flows, everything will live. Continual fruit is promised because the water from the sanctuary flows to them. WATER FROM THE SANCTUARY. Oh, let the River flow! May our roots always soak up the Living Water.

Great verses… I wrote them down so i can look at them more deeply tonight.
I don't have one special verse right at this moment, but i have been looking at the book of Luke a lot lately. The more I study and read the words of Christ, i am so amazed at the power of his love.

I love those verses. The one that has me captivated right now is "Psalm 119:50b – "For your Word has given me life" – that just takes my breath away.

Hey, Sharon! I love these verses! Whenver I am running trails–which has been a while!–I look for those trees by the streams with the roots that grow so deep. I want roots of faith to be deep also. Thanks or sharing! Right now, the verse that I am claiming is "Direct me in the path of your commands, for there I find delight." Psalm 119:35

The Scripture ministering to me today is John 3:17. "For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world. But, that the world might be saved through Him.
