“A sweet friendship refreshes the soul.”
Our souls are refreshed indeed. Spring Break blessed us with lots of time with friends this week. We are so thankful for the sweet friendships with which God has blessed us. We are so thankful for friends who open their hearts and homes to us and say “welcome”. We are humbly grateful for the privilege and joy of opening our home to family and friends…as unto the Lord.
Here are a few pictures from this week. The first several were taken at my dear friend Lucille’s house, where we enjoyed warm fellowship, delicious food, an egg hunt including the Resurrection Eggs and baking some sweet Easter bread together. 🙂
“For in Him we live and move and have our being. As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are His offspring.'”
Our hearts are solemn and deeply thankful to our God and Savior on this Good Friday. As we prepare for the celebration of His resurrection this Easter Sunday, we are thanking Him for His greatest gift of salvation, His perfect love, grace, forgiveness and mercy. We are thankful for our family and friends…and all of you in Bloggityville. (I’ll be taking a blogging break until after Easter.) We’ll be spending time with my mom today (Nan Nan) and Jim’s parents (Pop Pop and Nana) and his family this weekend.
We truly wish you a blessed, peaceful and joyous Easter!
