“And the words of the LORD are flawless, like silver refined in a furnace of clay, purified seven times.”
Psalm 12:6 (NIV)
“Every word of God is flawless; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him.”
Proverbs 30:5 (NIV)
“As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the LORD is flawless. He is a shield for all who take refuge in him.
2 Samuel 22:31 (NIV)
It’s wonderful when one verse pops out at you during your quiet time, isn’t it? I love when that happens. He is faithful to give us our portion, and sometimes our portion is just one rich and meaningful verse.
I was reading through a few Psalms the other morning and was jaw-dropped amazed at Psalm 12:6. “The words of the Lord are flawless….”! It still takes my breath away. His words are flawless. Perfect. Perfectly trustworthy. Perfectly dependable. Perfectly true. Completely flawless.
I did a little search on the word “flawless” at http://www.blueletterbible.com/ and found the scriptures above. “Every word of God is flawless…” (Proverbs 30:5 NIV) My heart was satisfied, full and comforted reading about His flawless Word.
Still savoring the portion He gave from Psalm 12:6. What verse(s) are you savoring today?
Thou art my portion, O LORD:
I have said that I would keep thy words.
Psalm 119:57 (KJV)

I am going to agree with Wendy here…the Lord has given you a gift in your ability to break down scripture into bite sized components that make such sense for our lives. It is funny, I am concentrating on scripture right now that aids me in understanding my own “flawed” self and this post just reiterates my need for Him and his flawlessness. Spun silver…isn’t that the most beautiful imagery?
Blessings to you on this sweet Sunday.
Love,
Heather

Thank you for your encouraging words today about the SheSpeaks conference. I know God will lead me to what He wants me to do, my new prayer is that I will obey even if it means stepping on a plane all by myself!!
And I too agree – thanks for the reminder of His flawlessness! Amazing!!
Blessings,
