Our family is humbled and honored to open our hearts and homes to family and friends at our now-traditional annual SerenDIPity.  One of my dearest girlfriends, who is my hospitality hero, said to me when she RSVPed for the SerenDIPity this year, “Entertaining is a lost art anymore, Sharon.  Thank you for opening your home to us.”  Oh, I pray with all my heart that face-to-face fellowship and gatherings are not lost in this world of cyber connections.  The planning and labors of love in preparing for SerenDIPity are tiny compared to the sweet fellowship, huge blessings, smiles and laughter they bring. 

Another dear friend said, “You really put yourself out there when you send an invitation to a party and open your home to a group.”  Bring it!  We are willing to put ourselves out there to nurture and care for relationships.  I love and treasure one-on-one conversations with friends. And when we have a party…we want it to be a par-tae!!  I believe it is God’s heart that we fellowship together, eat together, pray together and laugh together…face to face and heart to heart!
