  1. My family has been on a journey with my daughter's cancer diagnosis for the past two years. I daily seek comfort from God's word and His presence. I feel this book would help me as I Sometimes struggle to deal with circumstances beyond my control.

  2. Isn't it crazy how we lose our confidence while in life's valleys? We drag our feet, heads hung low, forgetting that our confidence is in HIM! If only I could always keep my eyes on Jesus, and off of the circumstances.

  3. When I saw this, I just knew I needed to comment. My husband struggles daily with confidence and he was raised a Christian. We've had continuous struggles with our oldest daughter for 3 years now. Praying for God's strength to make it through every day. I would love a copy of the book to read daily with my husband.   6. Life has been a difficult road for many years for my daughter and I. I want it to change and have hope in the Lord that He is faithful and will turn it all to good but I want to be able to change my mindset even in the midst of it or whatever else may come.   20. This book is focused on such a needed topic for today's believers. I think we all have confidence. Either we are confident in our God…or we are confident in ourselves, our status, our "uniqueness", being different, our families etc.

    IMHO, it's not "if" we are confident, but the focus of our confidence. What do we rely on. What are our eyes fixed on?

    I have been guilty of finding confidence in so much other than Him over my lifetime. But, my prayer now is that I…we…might fix our eyes on the author, perfecter, and finisher of our faith…and that our only confidence might lie solely in Him.

  40. I need this personally, but would also like to have a community ladies Bible study group. I feel we need to make some changes to overcome some challenges, but need the confidence to make some big decisions and know that they are in accordance with God's plan and not just our own desires to "fix things".

  50. I am a divorced mother of 2 who works full time. Confidence is something I struggle with every day. How can I support these two children all by myself? How do I give them what they need spiratually and emotionally when I am so broken and barely have time to breathe. I have started praying everyday for confidence, not only for myself but also for my two kiddos. I will never survive without HIM and the confidence that HE can give me.

  66. My name is Elizabeth Nix. And I have been battling with PCOS (polysystic ovarian syndrome) since I was a child. My husband and I had tried for 6-1/2yrs to have our son. God did bless us with our precious son in February of 2012, but the road was rocky. I battled (and still do) with feeling less than I was, like God made a mistake when he made me. I know these are lies from the enemy, but its still hard, when other women around you are having monthly cycles and are able to get pregnant without the use of drugs and fertility treatments. I felt like I was letting my husband down and told him on several occasions to go find a wife that could give him children. Ever since my son was born, I have a renewed hope. I know that God did not make a mistake with me, but made me uniquely his. I am his creation and he allowed me to be blessed with the PCOS to help someone else.

  74. As a remarried women of four children, I find it extreme,ly difficult to believe I good enough anymore. Everyday seems to turn over another challenge from our blended family. There always seems to be a struggle. No one every said being a Christian is easy but when will it get easier and not so difficult everyday. When will I ever learn to deal with them with my head up and not feel defeated before I even get out of bed.

  99. I can't wait to enjoy your seminar on A Confident Heart. I have been suffering with Bipolar II disorder, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, and a host of other mental illnesses. For the last eight years I have been in therapy working on recovering. I feel I have finally turned the corner now that I have accepted Christ Jesus into my life. In January, I was invited to accept his knock at the door of my heart by a dear friend and I did. My life hasn't been the same since. I am able to leave my house, socialize with other people, my diet has normalized, I am getting exercise and it is all through God that this happened to me. Please consider my request for your book.   179. I am a stay-at-home mother who just married and moved to a small town where I know no one other that my mother and father-in-law. Being married to a non believer has been a struggle, especially when it comes to my confidence level….as a newlywed I was devistated with a diagnosis of Leukemia a few months ago and have been trying to recover from irrational fears of being alone here and going through such an emotional thing.   188. I would love this book! I've been told from a young age I was ugly and fat and since my biological dad clearly wanted nothing to do with me, I felt that confirmed it. I've spent 28 yrs trying to be confident on my own. I've been through severe depression and an eating disorder. Now as I am learning and trying to lean more on God its hard to be confident in Christ. Then,I look at my daughter and see how she is following in my footsteps and cry because I don't know how to help her keep her focus on God and be confident in him.   193. I read through the first chapter and enjoyed it. I've always kind of pushed the confidence issue aside and believed it was something that I would just always deal with and would just belittle it when it did come up in my life. I think what I was really afraid of was trying to overcome it and then finding myself in the same constant patterns that I've been in before. But I realize by doing that I would be doubting God's power. I finally faced this problem of confidence this past new year. I'm still scared to overcome it. It's to easy to try and "fix" this issue mentally and through your own power. But overcoming this is a matter of the heart and can be a longer process. And that's why I would love to win a copy of this book.

  198. Confidence is something I have really struggled with. I have several volunteer jobs at my church. This makes me very stressed. I want to do the jobs but after I volunteer to do something, then I'm so upset that I did, because I doubt my ability to do the job so much. Then I get so frustrated with myself for feeling this way. Ugh…a vicious cycle. I know God can do this for me, I just need to let Him have it. I would love to read this book. I'm sure God would use it to help me.
